Apartments Pod Ponco are located in the picturesque village of Rateče. This romantic village, borders three countries—Austria, Italy and Slovenia—and sits at an elevation of 870 meters (approximately 2800 feet). Nearby you will find one of the gems of Slovenia, the world-famous ski resort Kranjska Gora. The oldest giant ski-jump in Slovenia is only two kilometers away in Planica.
The house features five comfortably furnished apartments and a private spa area with a hot tub, finnish and infrared sauna. From the balcony or terrace you can admire the Velika Ponca (2274m), a majestic mountain of the Julian Alps.

Our Location
The surroundings of Rateče offer many activities in summer and winter. This is an excellent starting point for excursions to the Julian Alps. In the hot months you can cool off in the lake Jasna. Cycle through one of the many bike tracks in the Tamar Valley, Kranjska Gora, Tarvisio or Mojstrano. Kranjska Gora has a tennis courts and golf course, casino, running tracks and ski slopes for more and less skilled skiers.
The staff is ready to assist in organizing trips, the selection of restaurants and other activities.
